Meet Your Cast Iron Crew – Grant Dow

The newest member of the Cast Iron Crew, Phoenix-based Grant Dow joined the Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute as Vice President of Field Services in July 2020. With more than 30 years in the plumbing industry, mainly on the management side of the business, Grant is well-prepared to provide inspired leadership to the Cast Iron Crew team. Grant is also a field representative for Arizona and Colorado.

Grant comes to CISPI from CB Supplies, Ltd., where he served as Director of Sales—US. He started out in life as a new construction apprentice plumber, playing golf after his workday. When the 1987 recession came and business dried up, he turned his avocation into a vocation, becoming a golf professional. Eventually he returned to the plumbing world, applying his well-developed sales and training savvy to the business side of the industry. One of his proudest accomplishments is developing the first CEU program aimed at educating the Showroom, Kitchen/Bath and Manufacturer Sales Representative and to improve their understanding of linear shower drains.

In his free time, Grant enjoys playing golf, refinishing Scotty Cameron putters and tending to his vegetable garden. He is a fan of the TV show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and the Arizona Diamondback baseball team. He loves sushi and smokes a mean brisket.
