Matt RohanIntroducing Matt Rohan

The Institute welcomes its newest territory manager, Matt Rohan. Based in Chicago, Matt is responsible for building relationships with independent manufacturer rep agencies, code officials, inspectors, labor associations, trade schools, design/build contractors as well as the facilities planning & maintenance industry regarding the application and installation of cast iron soil pipe DWV plumbing systems.

Matt brings his experience from the industrial/commercial water treatment industry to the Institute. His knowledge and expertise working with equipment that is part of a building’s plumbing system helps Matt collaborate with commercial building maintenance teams and contractors. His role will be to build awareness and educate the next generation of plumbers, inspectors and project managers. Matt will also provide insight into the selection of the proper drain, waste and vent materials based on the application and building usage. Given his experience in the food service industry, he will be able to share his knowledge in the hospitality, healthcare, and commercial building development and maintenance sectors.

Matt graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. A licensed private pilot, Matt enjoys traveling throughout the Midwest with his girlfriend and playing board games during the Windy City’s long winters.
